What supplies do I need for hand embroidery?
Hand embroidery is a great hobby because you need very few supplies.

Tips for Hand Embroidery
- Pass your thread over beeswax to keep it from tangling when you are embroidering.
- Use three strands of embroidery floss for a thinner stitch. Use the full 6 strands of floss when you are wanting a thicker look or to fill in a larger area.
- Try using pinking shears on the edge of your fabric to keep it from fraying while you are working on your project.
- Watercolor pencils or crayons can be used as fill. Try them in areas where you don’t want to use a ton of stitches but still want to add color.
