Counted Cross Stitch Patterns vs Stamped Cross Stitch Patterns
What is the difference between counted cross stitch patterns and stamped cross stitch? Many cross stitch patterns printed onto a piece of paper that is made up of a square grid that contains symbols with a key to tell you where to place the different colored stitches.
A stamped cross stitch pattern is a pattern where the colors are stamped right onto the fabric so you just have to cover the different colors with the correct color. Most (if not all) of the patterns in this roundup are counted cross stitch. I prefer a counted pattern because it is more precise and technical and I prefer that in a pattern.
