How to Sew a Stuffed Dog
Today I am sharing a fun stuffed toy dog. Watch the videos below for everything you need to know to make your own! This fun little guy even has a cute little zipper pouch where your little one can store their secret goodies! This would also make an adorable tooth pillow for those kiddos who need somewhere to store their teeth for the tooth fairy. Here is how to sew a stuffed dog using your Cricut Maker.
How to Sew a Stuffed Dog
Supplies:
Cricut Maker and SVG File
PDF Pattern (you only need this if you aren’t using the Maker and the SVG.)
1 Yard Fabric (Robert Kaufman Urban Zoologie)
Pattern Instructions:
The first step is to download the SVG and upload it into Cricut Design Space. Here is a quick video for using the file with the fabric marker to draw on the seam guide.
Cut the file first with the fabric right side down on your pink cutting mat. Then cut it again with the fabric right side up. The second time you will hide the score lines and just cut the design. You don’t need the seam lines twice and you want two pattern pieces that mirror each other.
If you are using the PDF simply cut the file out on a piece of fabric that is folded over. This will give you two pieces of each pattern piece and they will be mirrored.
Assembly Instructions:
Next we will put the stuffed animal together. You can watch the video walkthrough below or see it on Facebook – HERE.
