Faux Cross Stitch Holiday Gift Tags

These fun gift tags are perfect for adding to your handmade gifts. Choose from three different versions, two that are faux cross stitch and one that says “this is handmade.” I hope you love them as much as I do! Here are some holiday gift tags for your special presents.

Supplies:

Gift Tags Cut File

Cricut Maker

Light Grip Mat

Cardstock (Cream, tan, or brown)

Cricut Pen – Black

Instructions:

Download the cut file for the tags above. Import the file into Cricut Design Space (or whichever cutting software you prefer.)

Set the inside image to write and the outside tag image to cut. I like to change the color of the tag from black to white so that I can see the inside image. Then click attach so that the images don’t move from their tags.

If you want to make more you can either copy and paste on the design page or you can toggle the project copies number up and hit apply to create several copies.

You will be prompted to install the fine point blade and the Cricut pen.

**TIP – The software might default the extra copies onto multiple mats. Click the three dots and move them to the original mat and then rotate to fit.

Take the tags off the mat.

*TIP – If the paper sticks or starts to curl try turning the mat over and peeling the mat off the paper instead of peeling the paper off the mat.

Attach twine or string to the tags and then attach them to your gift.

You can also use different colors of Cricut markers to add a pop of color to your tags if you so desire. Will you make your own holiday gift tags this season? Share with me in the comments below.
