If you are new to paper piecing I recorded a video (this is a replay of the live) where I walk you through my process using the Quilt Sheets and the BrightPad.
There are so many options for using this pattern.
- Put several together to create an adorable tote bag.
- Use two to create a zipper pouch to store your Valentine’s Day candy.
- Use one as an appliqué on a sweatshirt to create an adorable customized sweatshirt.
- Make a baby quilt with all the different sizes of hearts! Add strips to either side to create a uniform width and then place them all together in rows. For example put strips on either side so that your blocks measure 36″ long. Then place all your 36″ strips together, back, quilt, and bind.
- Create a mug rug.
- Make placemats.
- Sew a table runner.
- Make a flag to hang on your door.
You can also make them in lots of non Valentine’s day colors for a finished product that you can use year round. Hearts are fun year round in any color!
