Easy No Sew Star Ornament Tutorial
Supplies:
DecoFoil (Red, Silver, and Aqua)
Instructions:
Using a pencil or a marker free hand a star. I just used the elementary school method (as you can see in the video at the end of the post.) If you want to be technical about it print one and use it as a template!
Cut the stars out. I LOVE the imperfection and differences, but I know that is not everyone’s jam!
Now remove a small section of the paper covering one side of the star. I used a ripping motion (again with imperfection) use scissors if you are looking for a straighter line.
Cut a small strip of the deco foil. Mine all went red, silver, and then blue. But you could change that up, you could even do the whole star red. Seriously whatever floats your boat! Use a light rubbing motion or even tapping motion to apply the foil. If you use your nail it will dull the foil, a different look but still cool!
Pull the foil off. Save it because you can use it again and again until all the foil is off.
Repeat these steps with the silver and the red.
Now flip the star over and place a dab of hot glue. Attach a small strand of embroidery floss in a loop. This will hook to your tree, a wreath, or even to some twinkle lights.
Make as many as you need for your decorating purposes.
