DIY Faux Fur Spring Wreath
Is anyone else totally ready for spring? I am just waiting for warmer days and all the pretty flowers! I have been crushing on this pink faux fur and I wanted to make something fun with it for my house. This spring wreath using an embroidery hoop is so easy to make and you can change out the different aspects really easily which makes it great for decor. Here are some tips for making this spring wreath.
DIY Faux Fur Spring Wreath
Supplies:
Fresh Cut Spring Bundle
6″ Felt Squares
Instructions:
Use the cut file (info here) and cut the wording onto iron on foil vinyl. Iron the vinyl onto a square of fabric large enough to fit your embroidery hoop.
Place the fabric in the embroidery hoop. Cut in a spiral motion on the squares of felt. For the felt rounds into flowers. Use an embroidery needle and thread or hot glue to hold the flowers in place. Then attach them to the fabric. You could use green thread to create stems or ivy. You could also add pom pom trim around the edge of the hoop. Glue the fabric down around the back edge of the hoop.
Now use pins or hot glue to glue the faux fur to the wreath form. Attach a ribbon and thread it through the top of the embroidery hoop to attach the wreath and the hoop together.
Hang your wreath and enjoy!
