Fun Craft Gifts for Kids
Spreading the love of crafts is one of my favorite things! I am always trying to find ways to get my kids faces away from a screen and put something creative and new into their hands. I have put together a fun list of craft gift ideas for kids that will give them something fun to do with their hands and their brain! Here are some fun craft gifts for kids.
Fun Craft Gifts for Kids
Craft kits are a great way to get everything you need for a craft without having to search the store for each individual piece.
They are great for kids who may not have any craft supplies. They are also great for parents who don’t want a ton of extra supplies hanging around after the project is over.
If you don’t have room for the kids to have an entire craft room craft kits are a great option. Plus they make a ton of seriously awesome craft kits that make great craft gifts for kids (and adults!) The list below has so many fun options, some commercial, some from small craft sellers, and some DIY craft kits.
Craft Kits for Kids
This whimsical kit is bound to create tons of smiles as you or your kiddo paint the house and assemble your very own fairy vignette. Actually I think I want one of these right now!
This is the cutest little kit. You’ll find a llamma-corn, a panda-corn, a sloth-corn and other seriously fun creatures. This is a wonderful gift for that sweet creature lover in your house.
This kit has everything you need to create a fleece tie blanket. No sewing required which means the kiddos can make it on their own (winning!) Plus once you have the instructions that come with the kit you can easily get more fleece to create more blankets, the gift that keeps on giving.
Create this fun little kit right at home. You will put everything needed to sew a pillowcase right into the kit. It even comes with the free printable pattern.
String art is a pretty easy little craft. There aren’t too many rules so the kids can use their creativity to create a fun string design. This kit would make a great addition under the tree.
This one brings back all the nostalgia. I remember using these sweet plates as a kid to create wild and crazy outfits. Kids haven’t changed much and this will be just as big of a hit now as it was when I was young.
This sweet little kit makes a great gift for the creative little one in your house. Plus this Etsy shop is owned by a 10 year old little girl, which makes it extra adorable and I love supporting a young entrepreneur don’t you?
This loom is a great size for creating small rugs and wall hangings. I think this would make a great gift for the kiddo that has shown interest in textiles and creating.
This is a paint class sent to your home. You’ll get the instructions and everything you need to create a beautiful unicorn painting. You can order a few and make these together with your kiddos. I absolutely love this idea!
You may know I have a love of pom poms (check out THIS video) so this one has a special place in my heart. These little pom pom pets are seriously cute and if your kiddo can handle scissors they should be able to make these no problem.
This kit has everything your kiddo will need to get started in embroidery. This is a good way to try out embroidery with just a bit of each supply. You can find TONS of embroidery patterns and ideas HERE when your child inevitably falls in love with the craft.
These boxes are the perfect place to store any craft supplies your kiddo might have. The customization on the front makes them so special.
These little sheep are adorable. This one is great even for the littler crowd. These would make a super cute mobile or you could even hang them on the tree.
I mean how cute is this? Your kids will absolutely love making these awesome cupcake soaps!
