Supplies:
Knit Fabric (2) 10X13 squares
Bib-template-top (PDF)
Bib-template-bottom (PDF)
Bib Template (SVG)
Instructions:
Line up your two pieces of knit fabric so that they are facing each other. Trace the template onto the fabric.
Pin the fabric in place around the inside of the bib template. You don’t want it to slip while you are cutting so pin it now so nothing moves around. Once it has been pinned go ahead and use your rotary cutter to cut around the traced template.
Now sew around the entire piece. Leaving an opening on the bottom (between the pins in the image below.)
Turn the piece out. Pin the edge under and top-stitch around the entire piece. Add snaps to the tips of the neck piece and you are finished!
Here is a quick video walk through from my Facebook page.
These are great if you are looking for a shower gift for a mom to be. The knit fabric makes the bib so soft and flexible. The soft knit is perfect for baby’s soft and sensitive skin.
